6.7 fuel pump install diy

Ok man sounds good. Do you happen to know the part number for the bracket? All the 6.7 pumps I've looked at today only have the pumps themselves...no bracket.

What did you use to connect the new 1/2" fuel lines to the pump? just rubber lines and SS hose clamps? Any pics of the pump installed?

Appreciate the write up man, just went ahead and picked one of these pumps up to redo my fuel system.

Sorry guys schedule has been crazy. I feel bad I forgot about you guys again but the truck did go 12.7 on Saturday with a blown boot at the 1000ft mark. Pump is doing great.

Any new updates on when the DIY write up will happen?
I made a video of the general wiring but my damn phone isn't letting me upload to YouTube.

Apparently the 05-07 trucks had a different feed line going to the bowl so that's something that will need to be addressed.

I was more curious to see the pump placement and the 1/2" fuel line routing you did. I have the general idea of what to do, but would like to see it before I attempt.

The fuel line runs inside the frame rail forward, then up under the intake directly to the fuel bowl. The pump is mounted inside the frame rail just in front of the fuel tank. If you want text me tomorrow and I'll send you some pictures. Then maybe I'll finally remember to post them in here.
