How would a 75/84/1.34 T6, gt4202 work? I figure I would change out the exhaust housing to something smaller if I could.

Garrett

probably getting paid at work to post this from my bionic

Looks like MPD is posting pictures of their stock VGT/compound setup on FB. Hope to see some pics and info brought in here....

Interesting that with the 40mm wastegate that they see steady VGT duty cycles...

Interesting location for the drain on the LP turbo too, can't really see how it would drain in the glow plug hole?

I am very interested to see how this project pans out over time. I really hope MPD will give some good updates on this. So many projects get left behind with no updates, especially when it doesn't work...

If they're getting steady vgt duty cycle they must be using a strategy that doesnt reference the ebp sensor. This way they can virtually control the vane position with no issues even using a gate.

You are not missing anything. New idea that makes for a VERY clean install. That is why I hope MPD updates the build so we can see how it does!

Sorry about not updating it lately we are working on tunning right now. I know Craig towed King Kong to Rudys with it. Will get more results soon

Please keep up with this Mike! I am happy to see you guys trying this route and I hope it is successful because I think it will be the best for guys like me that want the best of both worlds, insane spoolup and the power of compounds. I am very interested to see how IAT's look with this.

I agree. I would like to see how they look too. I think that since the LP turbo is the one doing most of the flowing at medium to high boost numbers, I wouldn't be surprised if it had very similar IATs (nominally higher) to traditional compound setups that were sized comparably.

I agree. Since the HP (stock) turbo isn't going to be working as hard, might surprise a few people...and I really like the clean look with the piping like it is!
