Better tuning manifolds up pipes gutted out manifold intake and upgrade transmission. that's how but when I had my s366 I still had stock up pipes manifolds and intake manifold With a less stronger transmission. I'm not saying that a s366 spools faster then a s475. What I'm saying is that the set up I'm running now the s475 with all the mods compared to my old set up the s366 before the mods. The set up now with s475 spools faster than my s366 ever did.

I still think more 6.0 guys should go to the smaller turbine when going Non-vgt. Sure the box 366 is cheap and runs 'okay ', but take that turbo and convert it to a 70mm turbine wheel and enjoy getting some responsiveness back

It's all about matching your turbo to your goals and driving style. I think this thread proves we prioritize characteristics differently.

Interested in this. Been meaning to talk to you actually. Can you shoot me a pm or a fb message/text. Have a few questions.

My old 66mm had the turbine wheel clipped to 71mm with a tighter .85 a/r, unfortunately it was a t3 undivided setup so the spool was still terrible, but honestly it didn't feel like it was choked off up top.. Imo the smaller wheel would be nice for those that want to run an s366 with their big tire lifted trucks.

I'm still in awe with how fast my 66/73/.91 spools on my truck with the right up pipes. I can almost make boost at any rpm, it's a blast.

FWIW.... a friend of mine ran a 68/68 on a 6.0 and Loved it, it was ball bearing .85 divided t4. there could definitely be something to a small turbine turbo on a 6.0
