You guys down south worried about heating fuel=hilarious.

My fuel gets warm in temperatures above 20° just because it goes through the cylinder heads.

Who said anything about putting a fuel heater on a southern truck. The recommendation was made for tater, who lives in an area where it gets a little cool sometimes.

Engine oil viscosity is a more constraining factor then low fuel temps. What problems are you fixing with a fuel heater?

Yep. I have only had my truck in -20 and fuel didn't gel and it started fine without being plugged in.

Anyway, this could turn into a dumb debate. I've made my point.

I think you two are confused. I didn't give "expert advice" or make the definitive assertion that dude NEEDS a fuel heater. I only presented an option for a heated pre pump filter assembly.

I am not an expert on fuel chemistry, so I would never engage in an argument regarding the necessity of a fuel heater. I just assumed that he MAY be interested in that particular setup considering the climate where he lives.

Yea. It's hilarious buddy.

That's all. I'm not taking a serious stance but I wouldn't bother.

All good here!

Anybody know if beans sump will fit between the tank and the skid plate?

When I do mine, I am planning to cut an access port in the skid plate directly below the Bean's sump with bolt on access hatch cover shaped like a little "inverted hat" so I can access the fittings\lines and drain port without removing the entire skid plate.

From pictures I've seen of other units installed compared to the profile of the Bean's unit it just might clear the skid, but if it did it would be a tight fit.

I just crawled under and had a look. There's deffinelty no room between the tank and skid plate. I'm thinking of getting some longer bolts and some spacers to lower the skid plate enough to clear the sump and hose.

Since options are being explored, don't forget we can handle the supply side as well:

Dual Stock Pumps (available with 5/8" pickup or sump):

Fuelab Race Pump (available with 5/8" pickup or sump):

Both kits built to tie into our bowl delete kit perfectly. Everything you need for the installation except tools and labor included.
