I am piecing my kit together currently. Twin SD pumps new, 2 filter bases, and Cat filters 10 micron water seperator and 2 micron post filter. About 250$ so far and I still need lines, fittings, and a regulator.

them poor pumps are going to live a very hard life fighting over fuel with a 10 micron filter.. should be at least a 20 micron..40 would be a lot better...pumps dont mind pushing fuel... the sucking is what kills them...

I was trying to figure that one out but it appears from a lot of the e fuel threads many were running 10 micron. If it is an issue is can always go with a 20-30.

I ran a 10 micron pref filter in my dual stock pump setup with no issue. 250/200's and held 60 psi. 5/8th lines to the filter base then 1/2 the rest of the way.

One pump would hold about 45 psi on a wot run.

im running a home brewed regulated return with DI fittings to the rear of the heads, the strictly diesel bracket that was posted earlier, Fuelab 42402 pump, Strictly universal wiring harness, All AN fittings and new lines. I have probally right at $1,000 in mine. Holds 300/200s at 68 psi like a rock.

I opted to kind build mine how I wanted vs just buying a built kit. My main concern was I wanted a tight filter setup that wasn't strung out over 2' of the frame and I wanted the regulated return to be kinda tucked in tight and not all stuck up all over the place. I feel that I accomplished my goal.

Just an update. Got some 300/200 hybrids from MFI come this week and the full system from strictly diesel to feed them. 5/8 draw straw to the dual stock pump race set-up. Then the fuel bowl ****** regulated return with high flow banjo bolts. Still awhile away from putting the old truck back in the road. Next items I guess are HPOP(s), and turbo set ups.

For 300/200 to run at their best you are gonna want to go with dual hoop or a gen 3 from swamps or a homemade one

And if your looking for more air I have a ball bearing billet wheel 72mm turbo I can sell for a good deal. The ball bearing makes it spool super fast for such a big charger

It'll be a little while before I can get some more parts. Got to build up the war chest a bit more. Lol.

If you drive it on the street, you can survive for a loooooong time with sub optimal hpo. I had a super low mile 15deg pump on mine when the srp 1.1 blew. The "hot " tune wasnt limited in terms of hpo and in good health id seen icp reach 3700 psi at wot with the srp. Holy ***kin crap.

In a "performance" tune which was the step below the hot tune, mine called for 2800 psi...the 15 would do it for short bursts of wot. So, I left it there. Believe me, you arent staying at wot for very long on the street with 200% nnozzle hybrids. Its dumb fast...

If I got to get a HPOP though, might as well get one that will support the full capability of the injector. Even though, as you said, on the street I'd be fine with an adrenaline or something. Right now I don't even have a healthy HPOP.

Then anything would be better. A smaller injector with a 200% nozzle would be fine with a stock 17. 300/200 or larger you best get the most oil you can afford.

I ran 300/200 with an adrenaline and even on the street I could tell it wasn't holding. When I put the gen3 on the truck pulled much harder and the icp would ramp much faster because of how big the pump is. I think even with a street truck you should still maximize the injector

So tell me more about the Gen3. Don't know much about them. How does it compare to twin terminators or BTS duals.

all will feed any injectors you go with

live life full throttle

Yeah what he said. Some people have said it idles rough when you first crank it but mine cranks up smooth every time and some people have said the truck has cut off after a hard pull at wot but I have never had that issue with mine either. I think they are great pumps to feed large injectors

From my understanding, the Gen 3 takes your injectors - whatever size they may be - and then laughs at them.
