The owner of the truck I called him up and he came over and he unplugged the glow plug relay so they wouldn't turn on and sprayed a little ether in her and I guess the injectors weren't getting fuel when cranking but she's up and running now I think when I shut it off it back fed the fuel to the tank from the injectors not exactly sure what went on

Glow plugs aren't getting power. With all 8 GPs working, the voltage should be around 10.9-11.2.

Ether and glow plugs do not mix very well......a very big boom happens.

When my truck was stolen, it was recovered in Ecourse (down river)....to this day, it still gets my blood boiling.

I wanna know what was actually wrong. You guys think the gp system, fuel, or the motor is tired?

I mean I think it's something to do with fuel I'm going to pay extra attention to how it acts this week and if there's something up I'll investigate deeper. Engine was just rebuilt about 5000 miles ago from previous owner who had receipts to prove what was done to the truck

5k mile rebuild will start in 10 degree weather without gp's unless the compression is shot
lol.. well, maybe.. but it should still start without issue or needing a wiff of anything if it was that new..
