good info there chris, ill make sure I save that LOL

but why are people still not getting proper readings with isspro/autometer gauges? Are you still have that issue with your Dakota Digital gauge?

I'm sure the gauge is correct.
Same injectors with two different pumps, and having the same high pressure output...need more hp oil.

Yes the issue is the same with all i've tried...dakota, autometer and ISSPRO when truck is tuned. Now when i turn it stock....ICP will read 3600+. And it'll only read 1500ish max with all three of those gauges i've tried when tuned. So i know it's not anyone of those gauges....it's the tuning causeing the reading issue.

You should be able to intercept the 5v reference before it goes back to the pcm for the gauge to properly read as my pricol gauge used to work. Even on the IDS the 5V reference is accurate even though the pressure number the pcm gives off is as you describe.

He needs more oil or smaller stix. He has to much oil piston travel for stock oil.

Im still not really convinced, plenty of people run 225's on stock pumps. On a mild low pw tune he shouldnt be dropping significant icp. Im more interested in what his are actually flowing.

I'm sure you've done tons of testing with different injectors with different nozzles. So I guess there must be something wrong with his truck then.

really? how much fuel is pulled back in those tunes to still have hpop loss? cant be much

The real difference I have felt is in the extra 300psi that the Adrenaline pump had over this new style pump.
I have the video of the hpo dropping down to 2300 psi with the Adrenaline pump...
The difference now is the pressure drops to 2000psi, and the truck literally throws you forwards, instead of backwards.

I would love to see what it would run like with the full 4000 psi.:naughty:

Your injectors are flow benched to 285s. Which is way different than calling a injector a size based on what it could hold

How the hell do you know? Besides the fact, that still doesn't change my opinion. I'd like to know what his injectors would show on a flow bench. Every truck, injector, pump whatever else you want to throw into the mix is different.

Yeah...the old style Adrenaline pump only maintained 22-2300 psi at wot too.

Not sure but maybe these injectors are bigger then 225/100???

What are you seeing for hpo pressure with yours? (I see you have 225/100's as well)

I don't have a gauge on mine Ivan. Last time i checked it i used IDS and was showing like 2600-2900 WOT.

Might have something to do with engine RPM.
