any news on installed units?? Maybe you guys can have the tuning dialed before mine arrives, lol

If your going to run Dual Fuel Tuning won't be a issue at all. From the Tunes that I have tested with Tadd and Matt (over 50) there are plenty to choose from. It will all depend on how crazy you want to get. With a Non-VGT Turbo the most important step is the Trans tune first then the engine. If you follow that it will save you and the person who is doing your tuning a lot headaches. FWIW

I need a tune with this set up, Do you know if they have tuning for this turbo and stock fueling? I have been driving around with my check engine light on... I'm ready for it to be turned off!

You mind making a video of the exhaust/walk around? Curious about how it sounds. And how is it handling the tuning you have now?

Yes I know Tadd @ Elite has Tunes for that and his Trans Tune for the Non-VGT is Spot on.

Near Effingham Illinois. I thought about Scheid's, since they have a shop in Effingham, but I don't know how much they mess with the newer fords. They do a lot of cummins stuff I think. I am also seriously considering RCD. Im sure they could do it.

I would like to do ALA's, a carli level, and amps at the same time. Oh, and exhaust. I have a delete pipe and egr block offs for the truck, but never deleted it. I have been running dpf on until I got some miles on it, then I bought the kits (Turbo and DF) so I figured I'd wait to delete it until everything was installed at once. Figure I probably better go with a full 4" exhaust now.

Is he in Effingham? I think they have a shop in Terre Haute too, which isn't much more than an hour from me as well. I may hit them up if you think they would be good. I just want it done right.

What will I need for tuning it? I have a high sulfur capable mini max. I'm assuming I will need an MCC unlock code for it?

Another thing, I am pretty illiterate in turbo speak. I bought the wastegate option. It is a Precision 39mm. I noticed on the box it says 25.7 psi. Surely that doesn't mean it won't allow boost to exceed 25.7 psi does it? I don't understand what that means. If that's the case, that seems awfully low to me.

50_shooter, make the drive to KC and I'll help you put it all on over a weekend. Might as well learn to wrench on your own truck and take pride in knowing you did it right.

That just means it has a 25.7psi spring and if you didn't run a reference line (boost controller ) to the diaphram from a charge pipe it'd open at that spring rating (that's not always a factual number).
