Haha, no. It was on a stock appearing turbo. Lmao.

Here's the fuel slip,

Mind you, it has done 11.3 with a beter 60'. But I can't find the slip on my phone.

Also remember, that's a stock appearing, VGT, trailer towing, a/c blowing, full interior truck.

Oh, and as mentioned before, it has a 6R in it. Which has never yet been pulled out for service. We pulled it from my crewcab, already built, used and abused with 10k miles on it from the original build back in 2014. Takin it like a champ!

Yeah Piedmont raceway is 837ft

I live right at 558ft in IL

Must be a higher oxygen content.

You'd think it would be lower with all those diesel Bros there, sucking up all the good oxygen.

Man.... I just read through most of this... I have to say its pretty entertaining, why can't we all just get along. We, as Ford owners and enthusiasts should be congratulating our peers on the advances we make, regardless of what they are. A ford put down the biggest dyno numbers out of two days of dynoing and thousands of trucks that were at this event.

First thing I'd like to mention is, its common sense that a stock trans truck wont make comparable time slips compared to the big power it made on the dyno. A quick pull in OD on the dyno is nothing compared to a rip down the drag strip.

Second thing I'd like to mention is the dyno at Rudy's event was from Mass Diesel, and it is a very nice load cell Dyno Jet. Ive been on it several times, and honestly it is the only dyno that my truck has made comparable boost numbers as compared to the street. Also, the day that he dyno'd the air was perfect for it, low to mid 40's with very low humidity.

Third.... When looking at a compressor map for a s475, or s476, it just doesnt make sense that either of them can support 1200-1300hp on fuel by them selves. They just don't flow enough air. I don't care how well the 6.7 cylinder heads flow, the Cummins and Dmax dont even make those numbers with a comparable sized turbo.

That being said.... I give it to everyone who is pushing these trucks. The pulls were extremely quick, and I wouldnt doubt that they were quite a bit above 1000hp.

I don't think anyone was doubting that the truck turned and can turn some big numbers. Just not as big as what they said. When a tune only 6.4 makes 700 you know there is something up when everywhere else and at the track they make about what 580 rwhp normally? I think thats what everyone is getting at.

The point was we asked about the specific truck with a "stock" trans and they attempt to pull a cover over our eyes and post results and weight from a completely different truck. Instead of being straight up with everyone and admit the "stock" 6R140 is not what 99% of the industry considers stock. They brag about inflated numbers on a "stock" trans and mislead customers to believe it's just "good tuning"... not something I'd be proud to sit next to at a diesel event Powerstroke or not. I'd rather hang out with Firepunk... at least they're humble and 100% honest.

I know... opinions are like assholes...

And fwiw they're drop in intercooler made it out of the box for about 5 mins and got returned. But I won't digress into that shyt... but whatever they gotta do to make a buck I guess.

Yea I totally get that. I too don't think a single 476 can make 1300hp on fuel. There is just a lot of bickering and nut swinging going on, when we should be supporting each other. We have our backs in a corner in every aspect of diesel competition.... besides maybe how nice our interiors are. Watching a 4wd Cummins run 5.4 in the 8th really makes you realize how far behind we are......

Seems odd that they claim such superb tuning yet had their customers download h&s canned non-vgt tuning all the time. Color me confused.

That or tell a guy to run his truck without a gasket on the up-pipes/turbo flange after he installed their setup he bought from them. I'm sure a few people remember that conversation a while back...
