Yo brotha. Text me tomorrow. Got plans so we could just set you with a drop in 80 for less coin. Simple set up too

Not to hijack...send me a text on that buddy if it's not just something you have around the shop and are trying to help Erik out..if it's just an option coming into the market fill me in

Sent from my SCH-I535

Well, I would say Don't buy any upgraded shafts from Randy's. Mine are just stock replacements also. They are going back wed.

Are they physically bigger than the F250's? Shafts and the pumpkin? I think the D80 is the bigger axle, those are 10.5's I believe, same as what I have.

Here are the 2008 rear axle specs from Ford.
Found on pg 72 ... https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/2008/vs_pdf/f250-450_08bb.pdf

F250 vs F350 SRW
Shafts are larger and have more splines.
Max weight rating is 1080lbs more with the F350.

I just tried looking up the part number for a Truetrac, Locker or Eaton Posi for the 37 spline F350 rear diff. and there are none listed.
Only available for the 35 spline F250 rear diff.

Maybe that came with some specific option? Figure if they don't offer a replacement ls or locker it is because there is no need for them or very few around. My book might give specs but I haven't come across them yet.
