I'm going to find out what the rating is for my sintered iron. I would assume that its pretty high but i could be wrong. One thing i like about the iron is the heat doesnt affect it. Since im planning on pulling this year at my local fairs i wanted something that could deal with the heat and still work. Once again kenny will get my buisness again if/when i need a clutch!

Question to the OP: how was the install on the short throw shifter? How long did it take you, and were there any special tools that you needed or helped do the job? reason for asking is I am seriously considering getting one but will have to install it in the driveway in the damn cold and any extra advise will make the job much quicker.........Thanks for the video btw.

The install on the short throw is real easy straight forward. It took me 20 minutes to throw it in. Once you get your shifter boot off (held on by two snap clips). Remove the shifter it's held on by one set bolt. Then there will be two phillps head screws holding a plastic piece with a clear rubber in the middle remove them an you will get down to your shift tower. You will need to remove the tower by removing the 4 Allen head bolts (can't remember the size off the top my head). Take the tower out take your new shift finger I like to call it, install the little plastic pieces (you will see what I'm talking once your in there) back into there places in the tower assembly and put the spacer they give you on the tower and reinstall the shift tower using the longer bolts they give you. and just reassemble hope this helps. It's real easy once you get in there and actually see it
