Does Kevin's setup have the internal gate functioning as well, or is that disconnected so it's always closed? I would think two gates would be pretty tough to setup.

Unless your going to spray it I wouldn't worrie about an external gate ... Mine stays blocked off unless I'm at the track spraying it

I'm fixing to pull mine off and cap it also......until I can be convinced to put some gas on it. as it sits, i just have manifold pressure holding the spring shut.

depends if the exhaust housing youre using is internally gated, if not, than you will need an external gate to keep surge and drive pressure in check.

Keep us posted with photos if you choose to go through them. We have some of the most knowledgable 6.0 guys on here who can give feedback.

My buddies compounds were a horror story, there's more to fab'ing a kit than one would think.

horror story is an understatement

the 62/65 over a 475 was a great combo for 205s

Make sure you have an external wastegate installed...the small...even after opening them up internal gate ports, will NOT control the drive pressure...

if you use a 62/65/70 t3 with over size internal gates and a s475 you WILL NOT need a external gate, Ivan has never run that setup so his informaton is not accurate. for where you live and pulling the mountains this setup will run good for you

You should be just fine with that charger. I cant remember the size of the gate ports on the thruster 2, lemme see if i wrote them down somewhere. I know two people with that charger in compounds, one with a 475 and the other with a 474 lp. Both dont have external gates and dont have back pressure problems.

I know you have had some crazy back pressure issues and im not sure why lol... But with my setup iv never seen over 65 psi of bp fuel only with my external gate unhooked.... I think you just have all the "luck" Ivan LOL
