YIKES! glad I asked you all first! lol

I'd love a reg cab 7.3, just I have a low budget of about 5k or under at the moment. Only ones I've really found good to go in that price range were 2wd and over 300k miles.

The less of a project it was the better, I don't have a lot of mechanic experience haha

My brother has a 01 rclb he wants $7500 for. 190k miles but a solid runner and decent looker. It cold use some appearance work as it's been a work truck it's whole life. I know it's a little out of your price range but it's ready to go also.

What color is it? Definitely keep you in mind if I get a little more cash

ok thanks. how do i tell if its early or late 99?

I can't remember all the ways but the big one for me is the little powerstroke v8 badge on the fender. There are differences under the hood and other things as well that just make the truck all around a pain to deal with. Its like a bastardized OBS/SD half breed.

My favorite height for my ccsb was stock front springs, no rear block and 305/60/18's. Super useable and still fit into any garage no worries. Looked great!

With tgat much rust under the hood, I bet the bottom is solid rust.

i asked him and he said it was. If the only real negative to a e-99 is that they can be tough to get performance parts for that'd be fine with me. I don't want a powerhouse, I just want something that sounds good and has decent power to be a DD/tow. Seems like a pretty decent price on that truck to me?
