Good luck to Mike and Arron. I would.love to see a true blue oval win it.
To everyone that thinks it is unfair to have a Fummins in the Ford slot. Voice your opinion with DPM. Maybe they will make a class for conversions.

I know of three people who voted for shawn, myself included. I'm honestly surprised that fummins made it. Not only that but its the last fummins I would have wanted in even if I did vote for a fummins.

Make that 4 people. I voted for him.myself. That would have shut the Cummings guys up for good if a 6.0 would have won it. BTW, I didn't vote for a Fummins.

I agree, maybe if enough people put it in a "constructive critiscm" way they'll either alter the classes to cover the engines or make a conversion category.

I'm pretty excited about the 6.4's, but would have liked to see Shawn in there, too. There's always next year, right?

IMO the voters spoke. i think more cummins fans voted, period, and it shows. i, as well, think the fummins should either be their own class , dodge, or nothing. JMO. i do think the fummins that got voted in was pretty cool looking, that might have helped. it would be even funnier if it won.

I voted for Mike Aaron and Shawn

Same here. You know that a Fummings is gonna have a strong chance of making it into the competition because the dodge boys get to vote on it and put a fourth truck in the competion. Now there will be 5 Cummings motors in this competion

Oh well at the end of the day, it is still a Ford truck. The motor alone doesn't win this. It takes a great truck that can take one hell of a beating. Still wished it was the 6.0 but oh well. Like said, the public has spoken.

I don't remember my exact ford votes but I sure as hell know I didn't pick some under powered show truck. Yes that truck is gorgeous but I don't think he stands a chance.

You know I understand some of you all complaining about the whole fummins thing, but how many really fords ever really had a chance to compete againest the cummins and duramax guys? The people who read diesel power vote for who gets in the contest in the end. They are a magazine, there for they need to entertain there readers and having the fords always blowing or to even coming close to what the others are doing. I mean its like me and other 7.3 guys complaining they don't have a 7.3 represented. There is a lack of credit given to the guys who do the cummins swaps, I don't know about most of you but I've seen what it takes to make it work and work enough to compete in a contest like this. Some of you who have never actually seen this in person, know that at the end of the day a truck without a good driver won't be competing at all. You guys wanna see ford powered trucks vote on the ones who can show up and win. Then that will get more people to vote for them. The readers on d.p. mag want to see the biggest, baddest truacks take down the top dog. That's how they vote. So end the end ford really hasn't had a good representation in the past.

Well if they think a 600 horse fummins on 37's is gonna be a good representation of anything besides broken parts and ATS jokes, then I'm not sure there is any helping those people. I don't care how the competition stacks up, fummins shouldn't be in the Ford category. Superior ball joints and interior don't have any bearing on a diesel competition.

That's where I disagree with the way its setup. That thing don't stand a chance, but why should the fummins be an outcast its a diesel competition not brand competition. I am a true blue ford fan, and would put a 6.4 in my truck before a cummins, but if you outcast the fummins guy or say make them there own section. Then that's just one more cummins powerstrokes have to beat. Until the 6.4 there was heardly any fords in the competition worthy of the title. That's why these guys vote for the fummins because they can compete. Why is it the 7.3 hasn't been given a shoot in a while. I know guys who have tried and I know would do better then some, but there not even given the option to compete. You really wana make this interesting. Let each brand have one truck to represent each motor that has been put in a diesel or just free for all, no ford, dodge, chevy just 14 trucks of any brand can compete.

But why should a fummins be thrown in with the fords? Like I said, its not comfortable seats that wins competitions. When you sign up they don't ask about paint, or cosmetics, or ride, it's what MOTOR does the truck have, whats done to said motor? Fummins should knock a full blood dodge out, not a ford. There is nothing "Ford" in the fummins that will make or break its place in the competition. What will place that truck is the original dodge equipment. Put it with the dodges. It doesn't need its own class, the DPC is meant to be kind of a small and more personal setting.

Fummins should be allowed in but in the Cummins category. It should be 3 power strokes, 3 duramaxs, and 3 cummins plus the last years winner. Not Ford, GM, and Dodge.. Afterall its a diesel magazine not a truck magazine.

No matter what you do someones going to always complain. I think diesel power mag. Is just about the looks as they are the motor. At the end of the day it don't matter what motor or make it is. If you don't know how to drive your truck or no it inside and out you can have a 1000hp and it be completly useless. Rocky knows his truck inside and out and knows how to use it for all its worth. That's why I think he's going to take it again this year and will use every bite of his truck to do it.
