Sounds like its gonna. Be set up for sled pulling then. That's great but there's several other events.

yea the newest issue they took it to the track..2.6 second sixty foot times..and best they could get out of a 2 wheel drive single cab 972hp dodge was a 13.1 ....a dang 6.0 with a set of sticks, a tune and a bigger boost pusher can lay that!!! and be well under 972hp...

I'm just showing you all that thought he lost because of others breaking, that he still had his own issues and still won. For those of you that don't think a cummins in a Ford body is a real Ford, then what would you call the f550 and 650s with a cummins in them from factory? Are those not real fords?

They are just that- FACTORY ... not the same thing as a fummins.

Well, when you enter your "home built b/a" 7.3 into the DPC and do anything better than dead last, I'm sure we will be more than happy to hear your thoughts on what it takes to win lol

Call me a kiss a$$, nut swinger. What ever you feel floats your boat, but I have yet to have a guy in this industry help me out with my truck and others I've worked like he has. He's also just a one man shop, so he could blow me off for the big spenders but he doesn't he treats guys the same either way. Nothing againest you personally Jd, I've never had a problem dealing with you when I need something.
In any sled pulling event out there even if it wasn't Rocky then someone else would have had the same oppertunity he did. When you get the option to repull they don't let you work on it between pulls. So it isn't like he could of changed anything to help him out.
Also for those that were blaming the camera guy for screwing up others in the trailer course. He was talking to everyone during the event
How is Rockys truck not the same? His motor came out of a f550? So if he puts the f550 badges on his truck it will be ok?

alright guys enough with the bickering back and forth. This thread is supposed to be about the competition not who is better and who won last year. If you all want to talk about last year find a thread for it or make one. There is no need for this. This thread is ablout this year so lets keep talking about what the guys we know have entered, what they have done to there trucks, and which event is going to be the strength and weakness for every truck. Becuse that is defineatly what I am interested in.

I don't have a problem with you lol I just don't like the fummins and think Rocky is gonna have a tough time this year at the challenge that's all. We will find out soon enough.
As for the trans issue- There have been some converter issues on the heavier trucks, but there was a new converter available shortly after the DPC last year. Shone's converter went, Aaron had some converter issues, and Craig ruined every converter he looked at LOL but the transmissions don't seem to have any problems that every tranmission does.
