205s is the biggest you can go without dropping icp on 05 up. you will lose more power with a drop in icp than you will gain with it being larger if that makes sence.

We have a fully functioning twin HPOP kit available. It's actually a very nice kit. With proper tuning, you won't bend spool valves. The problem with a lot of the most aggressive custom tunes, including our conventional insanity tunes, is that they lie to the pcm, making it think there's not enough HPO, maxing out the system. This is good for a single pump, but with twins, pressures get too high. Our system also has a safety blow off valve, so it shouldn't get destructively high. The only disadvantage with our twin pumps is that the low pressure oiling system needs to be upgraded to properly take advantage ot the twin pumps. Every truck we've had with twin pumps over 4500 rpm's has burned rod bearings because the low pressure oil pressure was sucked too low to protect the engine. On the upside, we're not near maximizing the pumps on the 430 cc injectors. You'll never run out of high pressure oil with these. Shawn's right though, no real "need" for twin pumps below 600 hp fuel only. Not too many 6.0's ever cross that line so they haven't been a hot seller for us.

wow that sounds pricey (and risky?) i'm HOPING for close to 700 fuel only with a fresh stock pump and hybrids. trying to avoid dual pumps at all costs haha.

700 on fuel is doable, but very difficult. Just ask anyone who's made it. The pumps are pricey, but they work very well. With proper low pressure oiling you have nothing to worry about.

Does anyone know at what pressure does the low pressure oil system become inadequate?? I know on big diesel ship engines, the spec was in the 15-20 psi neighborhood and we were taking corrective measures around 10 psi.

well i have the air side covered...now it's just more fuel and oil psi. I'm hoping that a stock pump would push 255's (hybrids) with no issues.

Sorry for your problems on that one. When you put the pumps on we had not yet discovered the additional low pressure oil requirement for higher rpms. The problem was discovered when we had a mechanical gauge on the low pressure oil system after we had bearing problems ourselves.

Some of the trucks currently running the kit seem to be doing fine without an additional low pressure pump, but we strongly recommend it, as well as a gauge just in case. Typical minimum engine oil pressure requirements are 10 psi for every 1000 rpm's. The lack of sufficient pressure is most prevalent at 4000+ rpms. You might be able to get away without an additional LPOP if you keep your RPM's down, but I wouldn't suggest it. You'd need a gauge to confirm.

I don't know all the details on the auxiliary lpop, as I've never installed one, but I can get more info for you guys within the next day or so.

I would love to dyno my engine to see where the power drops off.
Right now, it shifts at 4100 rpm, and it feels like it still wants to go harder...(Does not seem to drop off on power)

If in fact it was starting to lose power at say 36-3800 rpm, I could get the shift point lowered, and drop right into the perfect rpm/torque range on the shifts.

With the extra hpo pump I have on my engine, it no longer falls on its face like before the addition of the pump.
