Wow. Mine didn't look near that bad. If I were you I would see if you could return the stock track bar you bought and look into an aftermarket one that has a better bushing.

First. Check all moving parts to see if anything is worn. Even a little play can make issues.

Then check toe. If the toe is ok. Check the castor angle. Too much castor will make it shake. Too little will make it wander.

Steering dampeners ARE a band aid for the issue. But sometimes bandaid's last a long dam time.

With a truck that is driven at 100+mph offen. I would make sure everything is just perfect.

Anything can start it. Slight tire issue, bump, crack in the road, pot hole. normally the slightest pressure turning right will stop it unless its really bad.

Mine was 30mm where the track bar mounts to the frame and 24mm on the other end. When I was gathering info someone on some forum told me that he was 100% certain that his was 32mm at the frame. Not sure if they changed for some reason. Mine is a job 1 08.

I just did the ball joints on my 6.0 with 190k, they were a pain in the ass to break loose.

Thanks, yea got the one side out just having an issue with the balljoint end not coming out

Funny you say that. I thought mine was going to be a pain in the ass but i literally hit the top of it and it came out. I wish I could have had a picture of mine and my brothers faces when we looked at each other in disbelief.
