So is the livewire itself going away or just the version that allows for the DPF/EGR delete?

I'd bet that more and more mfgs will drop their line that can do deletes and any new styles won't allow for the deletes. SCT was what the 4th or 5th big mfg to drop due to the EPA?

Yeah just the off-road versions

And your right more will be going under due to EPA as well. I kinda blame eBay for that... and dumb asses blowing smoke

4th or 5th? Edge and SCT are the only ones so far to drop their off road line.

I thought there was more than that that had dropped stuff due to fear of the EPA, my bad.

The thing I still find "funny" is that the EPA is going after mfgs and holding them responsible for what the end user does. You can have all the off road only waivers you want, end use is still up to the customer. IMO if the EPA holds mfgs of tuners responsible then the gov't better start holding gun makers responsible when a hunting rifle/shotgun is used to commit a crime or fast food places for weight problems. Same logic as far as I'm concerened. I feel that all the time/effort/money spent enforcing/intimidating would be better spent finding better fuel sources, planting trees, making cars more efficent with less PITA stuff like the DPF, etc. I think the EPA is a great idea but it needs revamped and needs to look at rules and findings better before making decisions. O.K. rant and derail over.

i would just buy a Dashdaq from Drew Tech. thats what im using with my H&S XRT and KEM tunes. as for Eric's tunes you should be fine. I love my tunes from mike@KEM though. i had a CTS for a while and i couldnt really monitor anything useful but like boost, Trans, EGT, EOT, etc. the basics. no FRP, EBP, MAP, on the CTS

depends on what we're talking about, base lw or ID ... theres a good amount, but in 6 months they will/should be gone. hard to say. i know basically me and josh at river city bought every remaining OR unit left in circulation. and i know i got way more than him. the base units are flying, so stock could be 6 months, or past 1 year. I have only set retail sales for rudy and elite, as well as myself. i dont want to get in the parts pushing biz, so those guys, for the most part can handle it.

Can you plug the livewire in to the computer and save the tunes from off the livewire to the computer? How do I swap other tuners tunes onto the livewire without losing the ITP tunes? Is the process basically the same system as it is with the X3 and 6.0?

innovative tunes are in the pre programmed slots...any other tunes you can put into the 3 custom slots

Do I need to download new software for the livewire or can I use the same device updater stuff that I used with the X3. It was simple with the X3, is their as simple with the livewire?
