Do I need to download new software for the livewire or can I use the same device updater stuff that I used with the X3. It was simple with the X3, is their as simple with the livewire?

the lw requires different updater/firmware software. takes about 5 minutes to load. but fortunately, there really isnt any updating you will need to do. i have never updated my livewire, ever.

Is there anything coming that Innovative will be able to tune with in the near future? If not I'll probably be needing to pick up a LW.

Is that why they cannot email tunes because they cannot be saved correct?

They can email tunes. But you wont have all the features like you have right now such as different trans settings to select and etc.

Actually they can't. It would not be anything like the newer tunes as they would be on sct platform and custom tunes inside the lw. That's old stuff that isn't worth the time. The whole advantage is the new software tuning which can only be transferred in as pre loaded tunes. Nobody except ID can do that.

Thats what i meant Mikey when i said it wont have all the features.. It's pretty much a plain tune that isnt worth the time or money

Is there a specific trans relearn process for Eric's tunes like there is for the Spartan?

Just drive that bad boyLOL

Sounds good thank you. Is there a way to have it shift firmer by driving it more aggressive in the relearn? Just drive it harder during the relearn and it will shift firmer as long as you have that tune on?

My livewire is reading ECT at 194 and EOT at 90. There has to be something wrong with the sensor or something. Truck was up to full operating temperature. Was running Erics street tune. I did not have the EGT sensors plugged into my exhaust. So truck was high idling. I should have checked this out earlier but I just thought of it. Those EGT sensors could not cause the difference in the two temps?

The live wire reads oil temp in Celsius, so your at 198F which is normal.

There are three EGT sensors. Then there is another sensor. A pressure sensor maybe? Anyone sell that or do I have to get that from ford. That thing is like welded into the stock exhaust and threads are screwed up so no use in heating it up and getting it out. Just need a new one. Any idea on price?

Somersault ????? Lmao damn iPhone autocorrect.

The one with the rubber hose is a pressure sensor correct, Ford would be the only place to get one.
