no lope here with extreme x or the newest extreme street "extreme street X"

flashing back to get rid of the inferred EP strategys on the 03/04 trucks is a great thing to do.

I love the extreme x. The first tune revision that I got loped like crazy, but eric sent me an updated tune that doesn't lope at all. It drives great.

Mine doesnt lope at idle with my injectors. I think you'll really like it Chris. It is a beautiful tune and is really my second favorite tune next to the SPD w/early lock up. I am sure it is purely a personal preference because I drive like a grandpa so that is why I like the smoother application of power with the SPD. Nevertheless, the shifting is spot on and VERY smooth. Eric even smoothed out the disengagement of cruise control for me as well. Overall I dont really have any complaints and will probably just keep running it for a while. At 70-75mph on flat ground with outside air temp as high as 99F today, cruising boost was 4-5psi and EGTs were 750-850F depending on grade. Completely flat ground allowed the EGTs to be right around 775-780F, which is plenty cool for me in this heat.

I've heard great things about the spd. I need to try it.

I've got the Xtreme X and Xtreme X with lope but haven't tried them yet. Gonna try 'em out when my truck comes back in the next few weeks.

Eric got back to me. He said there is a little lope, not too much but told me to take it for a run and see how it drives. He also told me he can update it to the lope. but he said sometimes the extreme x conflicts with the lope...so we'll see

haha it lope's really good at cold start up, but after the truck warms up most of it goes away. It sounds really good still after warm up. I'll get a vid of it after warm up so you can see the difference between cold and warm lope.

Yea that would be cool to see. I kind of wish there was some way switch between a lope and non-lope (kind of like a smoke switch but cooler IMO) without having to switch tunes.

just dynoed my truck yesterday with extreme race and extreme x. both my tunes are maxed out fuel wise so the power was the same. it made 430 at the wheels. best part is it was 90* out yesterday and i drove 100 miles to get to the dyno event, truck sat for 45 min then went on the dyno. ECT and EOT were 200* and intake air temps were 100* - 104*.

Were the curves any different?
