The reason we are thinking freshen the motor up and possibly bore it .20 over is the blow by, truck also has a little miss that sounds like a one cylinder just isn't firing right, so there is obviously a problem. Hopefully the problem is just a stuck ring and all it needs is rings and to be honed.

Did that with my excursion, 2001 limited 4x4 7.3, picked up non running after the ford dealer stuck turbo, injectors, hpop, transmission, ecu etc for only $2k, Put a CPS in it and fired right up.
