Those led "pads" are exactly what they should be putting into the tail lights. If you put 2 like that size in the red tail light parts, one for signal/tail light and one for brake lights. Then maybe a smaller one for reverse lights. Not sure If the reverse would be bright enough though.

I wonder if they realize with a little advertisement im sire they would sell more than just 200 sets? Not everyone posts on forums so how many people get Diesel Power magazine that dont get on forums? Probably a ton of them so im sure thats all it would take.
Not to mention Bronco and gasser FSeries guys. Ford made what, close to 500,000 of these trucks/broncos from 87-97? There's got to be at least half left these days. So even say there was a market for 1/16th of that, which is about 15.6k trucks. Or even 1/32nd is 7.8k units. So, say maybe for a realistic case, over say, 3-5 years, they sell all 7.8k at how much they charge for a 99-07 set ($300) comes out to...well let's just say it covers their "mold price" a few times over ($2.3 million).

They sell 07-12 Tundra lights. Personally, I think there's gotta be a bigger market for these than for 07-12 tundra lights, there's no way they've sold more tundras over 5 years than Ford did in 10 years over 4 different body styles (2 trucks/2 broncos), not to mention the popularity that these trucks are bringing these days.
Just my .02, rant over.
