at OP, IIRC my 38R,stock injector 7.3 with a DP "140" tune wasn't that slow, but its been so long I could be wrong LOL.

I only drove that combo for about 2 weeks before the stock injectors went and I upgraded to 160's.

that truck was on 33's.

I cant see in the video that good but, what was EGT's ,boost on that run? looks like it "falls on its face" from the 2-3 shift then picks up a little again? maybe it just needs more fuel added to the tune to push it through the shifts?

He did say solid on the pedal, but I don't know if that means to the floor...

No not to the floot, but during same pedal in daily tune she lights up and stays in power band and knocks off shifts quick, the boost never even drops when shifting

Ok, I still plan on taking IDS from work tomorrow and logging some runs.

Only on that particular tune I feel. I'm curious to see if the CELs are also defueling me since I do kind of hit flat spots right as the light comes on

IDS tells me during data logger when CEL comes on so I can screen shot it and hopefully someone can tell me if it defuels. I imagine while logging PW someone can confirm this

depending on what the tunes call for, or whoever the tuner is, you need a boost fooler.. i vote riffraff. best one imo.. even though some guys can tune out the cel for overboost, i was told that a boost fooler will help with a better power curve and wont let the map sensor get damaged from having over 22psi thrown at it.. also your hot tune might call for better shifting when going wot tso give that a shot too..

2 things so far. I was able to enter my tire size into IDS and it took, but haven't verified speedo yet. Also my map was reading -0.07. Plugged in a new and now it's .07.. Hmm

Loading up the IDS now and about to leave work

Huh? Are you trying to say that your tuned truck with a 38r will get a 3rd gear chirp?

cuz if so Im getting rid of about 10 grand worth of **** under the hood of mine. Even with 550hp worth of fuel and built trans it will only get a chirp into 2nd.

Yes. I just did it, I don't think the trans likes it though cause it winds up, hesitates a bit than there is 2 shudders than a chirp. Uploading some screen shots of some runs now

thats cosher on a stock tune.. higher boost then stock but everything else looks good.. whats ebp at idle read?

and that chirp you are hearing, isn't the tires, its your trans screeming at you to stop... your chit is slipping..

Will check ebp soon, but it's a fairly new sensor and tube and I checked them 6 months ago.

I don't know I could be wrong, but I have beat on plenty of beat trucks with slipping trans and never heard a chirp

That last one puzzles me. Why is DC maxed. I'm assuming the tune is masking true ICP and I have to go off of volts? If so then how do I know what ICP truly is?
