What are you paying a gallon? I just got it for $32/gal. Wondering if that beats everybody else.

Rotella is crap.... The oil he is referring to us a pure synthetic..... It's badass and very expensive..... It cost around 38$ a gallon hear regularly

I get it for 19.99 a gallon @oreillyauto when they have a sale. I had a big leak so I've been dumping delo 400 in. The Mobil1 used to.sell under the Delvac Full Syn name a few years ago. It's a great oil. I prefer it to the Cummins blue(valvoline extreme 5w40)

Their filter is great too.

rotella had changed the shear characteristics of their oil. I believe there is a thread on that already, I will look.

In the thread, forgot where, they talk about the shear characteristics that changed causing the HEUI systems to wear out the oil at a much higher rate. In all honesty, i have several friends that have switched to mobil and valvoline 5w-40s. I will not even run rotella in the farm equipment anymore. Most noticed was idle, my brothers 7.3 quieted down after switching to mobil, I do not picture him going back to rotella.
All that being sad rotella is a sub standard synthetic oil.

Are you sure its 5w-40, sounds like pricing on 15w-40.:shrug:
