I like the stuff they have their but prices for some things are a hair pricey. Good service though

Yeah some things are a little pricey, but everything I have bought from them so far has been very reasonable. It was the only place I found rear shackle hangers for 30 bucks a piece.

Haven't gone there in years and they always have quality pieces. What year is yours again?

Sent from my Pear phone 5 using Tapatalk

yeah the nice thing is they have some of the harder to find pieces as well. The frame and axles are a 95-97 model year, not sure which year the frame and rear axle are and what year the front axle is exactly but its all the same.

OBS springs still?

Sent from my Pear phone 5 using Tapatalk

yeah I decided to just stick with OBS springs, I know Im sacrificing ride quality but Id rather put that extra money else where on the truck. Plus the rough ride just fits with an old truck anyways, and its not gonna be driven cross country or anything, the truck probably wont even see rain when its done.

Finally some more progress after the holiday.

Got the axles all installed and mounted to the frame yesterday with new leaf spring bushings, trac bar bushings, u bolts and ball joints. New spicer drive shaft u joints, axle seals, spindles, bearings, etc. are up next. Got my BDP sump in yesterday. Today will be working on traction bar mounts and making the brackets on the plasma table for a rear disc brake conversion.

lol I didnt realize it was supposed to be that bad, Im up for giving it a try if you are? Unless you think it will be too messy LOL

Lets talk about it Saturday night and see how things really shape out..... sounds like we might have 6-8inches of snow with another few inches coming on Sunday. Lets see how right they are on the snowfall predictions...

Spent today putting new axle shaft u joints in and assembling the front axle some more and working on making everything for the rear disc conversion. Mock up is pretty much completely done, still needs some tweaking though.

Started by putting the hubs on the lathe and turning down the small lip on the back side of the hub so that the rotor would sit down flush with the stud holes

Went with front rotors off an 86 K20 as well as front single 2 15/16 piston calipers from the same truck

You have pretty amazing skills to machine your own parts.

Thanks! That plasma table makes it very easy to make your own parts. I cant take all the credit though, my buddy who owns the shop worked with me all day yesterday too making it and already had a design for a disc conversion for a gm 14 bolt that we worked off of and modified

Wow I want the rear disc conversion. Would you be interested in making the brackets for people?

Sent from my Pear phone 5 using Tapatalk

Yeah we talked about that and we would be interested in making them when its all finished, we would just have to figure out pricing. The only thing though is you would have to get the lip of the hubs turned down by anyone with a lathe, unless you wanted to ship those here first.
