When you get a converter from phil ask for a 7.3 stator it will be the perfect stall speed for large turbos and won't be to high of a stall so it will last longer than what you have

Anybody have an idea what could cause this. Only did it for this video and in the second video it studders right off the start and acutally cut out while i was in the throttle. You can hear the turbos bark before the BOV goes off.

this was the run where I felt the convertor go and it was a lot of pedal after to get the truck to move both right off the bat and after it sat for 20 minutes.

Oh I found the leak. I had a intermediate pipe leak that we fixed and these were the test runs. Obviously it was still there so I laid over the motor and went over everything. Found the hardest to get to nut on the T4 flange finger loose. Soot underneath so that is tight and sealed now. Im 99% confident that was it. I pressurized the cold side to 80 psi and there was nothing.

How exactly did you pressurize? I've tried doing mine but it'll blow the plug I'm pressurize through off at about 20 psi.

I put a 4" pvc end cap with an air hose disconnect threaded in it and double clamped it to my no limits elbow. Then hooked it up to my air compressor and slowly turned the ball valve to get the pressure I wanted in the intake.

I took my BOV off and put a rubber boot for PVC there and clamped the heck out of it. I also had a PCV plug in the top of it with a ball valve and nipple fitting for air at the top. I put a 5" center cap in my intake elbow and clamped it hard as hell. Blew it out one time but put it in way further and double clamped it. shut the ball valve after 75-80psi and sprayed all pipes with soapy water. Found 1 pin hole in one of the cold pipes and fixed that. Havent done the exhaust yet but if this last fix doesnt work I will be making a steel plate and o ring to replace the downpipe and pressurize from a wastegate port.

The first time I did it with one clamp and it blew the pvc cap out( I had a valve stem in it the first time) and it ripped the end of my finger nearly off. Tore the skin from under the nail and whatnot! ***ing hurt! Thats why I double clamped it and switched to an air chuck fitting.

Dropped the truck off to get the true trac installed. Will be done before I get outta work. Trans parts will all be in tomorrow and trans will be done tomorrow night. Dillehay and Phil have been killing it and my convertor will be here Wednesday. PMF blazed out a set of bars for me and will be here by Thursday. Drive shaft loops are also done.

Talk about doing work! can you post a link to the true trac you ordered or did you get it from a vendor here? My truck needs one, it will spin both tires but one side will leave a really dark strip, the other comes in later and is pretty light. Maybe a few more burnouts and some fresh gear oil with friction modifiyer from ford will bring some life into it at 97,000 miles.

Maybe not, either way another burnout is in order and i'll set the go pro this time, i just charged it!

Looking nice! Did you find anything when you tore the trans apart?

Direct clutches were somewhat worn. Replacing them. There was a transtar pump I'm it and I feel its bleeding pressure so a new ford pump is going in with another trans go kit.

I got it from DTS which is local to me. I can get a part # tomorrow.
