Ok fellas I finally played with the truck.
I removed the up pipe tweaked on the flange to correct my exhaust leak. You can remove the right hand up pipe withe turbo on

Found a problem with the boost to wastegate line.
Fixed all that
Put it all together and went for a test drive.
I did not have a ids to watch ebp so no data log on that end
I was blown away by the power. Made 30psi of boost and running 4k rpms 16k egt
Boom bye bye cac boot.
That boot wadded up and restricted the intake=no power.
Lol I was freaking out. Intel I pulled my head out of my ass and seen what happened.
I will be so happy to take this truck and clean it
Mid October she will have the new used hood and the ok 22s back on

Me and Hesston are going to take that dang banks cac pipe and re calibrate the angle so I can put a good sealing boot on it. These stupid banks cac tubes are so bulky you have no room to tweak on it.

I would if I had a set Banks came on the truck when I bought it.
I'll get some ebp readings 2maro night.
I want to buy a dashdaq or cts I really don't want to install another gauge four is enough.
What will monitor ebp? Anything?

Okay today called JGS precision about the wastegate
I installed the heavier spring
Fixed a exshuat leak. installed regulator like JGs told me to
Performed data log of ebp this is my highest reading I got
This is a saved data log on my IDS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F9p7T0Cjok

It boost a near 28psi @ wot EGT around 13k around 0-70 run this truck moves fast.
I still need to do more tweaking
It feels like the turbo is not to it's full potential yet

Weston...how did they tell you to hook up the reg?

Are you running lines to the top and bottom of the gate?

What spring are you running?

I found a 20 psi spring, and it would not open the gate at all, even with only 10 psi from the regulator.
Changed out spring to the 10 psi spring, and backed reg out 1/4 turn. (3.25 psi)
Works better.

The guy at JGS said there gates work better with the regulator on bottom.
He said you slow the air returning will increase the waste gate staying shut time.

Sounds back ass wards to me

Why does your drawing have air coming FROM the bottom port to the regulator, and then back to boost?
Or did you just put the arrows pointing the wrong way?

That's the way it's ran. I feel stupid this shouldnt be this hard.
This is my first ever waste gate

Just FYI in case you didnt know the top and bottom ports are separated by a diaphragm and the boost doesnt flow threw it.

might help you understand it a little more

Dont us any boost on the bottom let back pressure open the gate and keep adding boost to the top til you get you set boost
