Is your current pickup paid for? If it is it would be cheaper to just put a turbo on it and run it, then it would be to trade it off on a Ecoboost.
Sounds to me like you need a warranty if you don't want to pay for repairs. Machines need maintenance and repair. Its inevitable. A vehicle could leave you stranded 2 days after buying it.I'm pissed because I absolutley love my super duty, but paying to fix it every time something happens is getting old. first it was studding it, then it was a Glow plug control module that was a pain to do. And now blown turbos? ****...just to return them to stock will cost me what I coulda used as a down payment on something else...
Don't get my wrong, as I said i love my 6.4, just getting fed up with that crap.

I say buy a new truck. Leave it stock, and get rid of it when the warranty is up.
'from what i have seen allot of the eco boost trucks really arent much cheaper if any than a 6.7

Depending on options, you are well into the $40's on an Ecoboost...
Sct tune, bigger intercooler.cai, stainless works offroad downpipe and catback. Moves pretty good for a 3.5 liter v6!!SCT? What else?
Anybody taken the 6.2 F150 for a spin? Heard they are pretty mean but don't know anybody with one!
I would imagine they are also pretty good on gas :lookaround:
6.2s are dope but only available in the platinum and raptor trucks... Which sucks. I would buy a xlt 6.2 in a heart beat
They changed that for 2013. You can get it with xlt, fx4, fx2 super cab and crew. It is pretty steep, and I have only seen one xlt on a lot.
