Ok so my fuel pump is about done and I will be replacing everything from the tank to the engine so where is the best place to get a package deal I need the fuel pump (air dog or fass) a sump and all the lines to feed to the back and front of the heads. So where is the best place to get this from? and what do you guys recommend for the pump. I will also be getting a fuel pressure gauge and searing column pod. Thanks in advance and any vendors that want to send me a pm with pricing please do I wold like to make a one stop shop thanks Vincent

nothing is drop in when youre looking to do this kind of custom... Ditch the idea of the airdog... from my experiences these standalone pumps are a waste

completely remove the stock fuel supply line

fuel sump
1/2" (-8an) line from the sump to
custom CAT/Baldwin fuel filters/water separator
- (2) Baldwin FB1311 Fuel Filter Bases
- (1) Cat Filter 1R-0750
- (1) Baldwin water/sep BF1212
1/2" (-8an) line from filter to an aeromotive fuel pump
- Aeromotive a1000 regular or marine grade
1/2" (-8an) line from aeromotive pump up to the engine bay to a y block
(2) 3/8" (-6an) lines to the front or back of the heads
(2) 3/8" (-6an) lines from the front or back of the heads to each port on the regulator
(1) return line off the regulator to the stock return line using a an to hardline adapter (this is sufficient)

let me know if there are any questions you may have

yes all 4 ports on the heads should have 90* sealed fittings! that was just a basic list not including what hose ends to use etc. Do you have access to fittings as well? I would assume since you have a crimper at work, I would prefer to use steel crimped over aluminum reusable fittings but I dont have access to a crimper

Damn....things are so much easier when the heads are pulled off...

The fittings are a metric size, and are not tapered, so a regular JIC or NPT fitting will not fit.

One of the first fuel systems I did, (Before pulling the engine) used the stock bolts in the heads, but I cut the 1/4" tubing, and adapted the hose to the tubing.

Since then...when I had the heads pulled, I had the ports drilled out and tapped for NPT fitiings.....way easier to get parts for.

adiesel.com for the baldwin filters and bases

I'd get all your fittings from anfittingsdirect.com (-an straights, -an unions, stainless braided line etc)

jegs (y block, hardline to -an fittings, 90* metric to -an fittings, regulator, orb to an fittings)

Please pm me a price on one I want to feed the front and back of the heads the one I saw like this was using an air dog 2 with no return from the motor at least I think that was how it was set up because it would rerun from the pump. Does this sound right to you guys? I soul also like a sump for the tank so if you guys could figure a price that would be awesome thanks

feeding the back of the heads and the front of the heads is USELESS, it doesnt solve the deadhead problem and still doesnt keep equal pressure to both heads.

The return from the pump is only a portion of the fuel, its the foam (filtered air from the fuel) that goes back to the tank.

Have JJ build you something with and aeromotive a1000 and a regulated return.

What is so much better than the aeromotive pump vs the air dog the main reason I like the air dog is that the filters and pump is all one unit and everyone that I have heard have a failure got it resolved quickly what kind of warranty does the a1000 have
