Right now, I'm running a stock trans/converter.

Cool man I thought so, I've found that the stock converter spools these bigger chargers better for some reason. Even most "stock stall" billet tripple disk converters dont spool these big chargers the same at all

We have seen the exact opposite from our testing and looser converter makes them light alot better...what converters were you trying

jared from RCD was saying that their new ultimate converter is tighter and found that it actually spooled better with a stall speed lower than stock.

Ive tested a Suncoast stock stall converter. It was fine with a stock turbo and a powermax thats obvious enough, but it had trouble with a 64/71/70 and keeping it lit, so we put a stocker back in his truck and it drives much better.

A lower stall than stock converter would technically create worse lag on a non vgt turbo which is why I havent put a rcd converter in. They work great on stock trucks though!

What converters are you using Craig? Im currently with a stock converter right now and if theres a better option that I havent seen i'd like to go that route. I was planning on using precision converters.

Yes that would make since since the Suncoast stock converter is actually tighter than stock which would cause what you found
Brian at bts has been working on a very nice converter that we have been testing and has worked very well

pm sent craig

I also want to throw another wrench into the mix with these charger setups, is nozzles. Frankie is running 150% nozzles, and its netting great results, spool up is great and looks like it only hazes at wot. Does the extra fueling the 150's proide help a ton? I know it works wonders with 6.4's and dmax trucks upping the nozzles and they gain power and drivability and. Im having a tough time deciding to go with 100% or 150% nozzles when I send my 190/75's back to jess to be made into 205s or 210s. Any insight on this guys?
