Haha...

I could not imagine the questions I would get with that in the back window!

Did a tranny flush today just to get a visual of how things are looking inside the pan, so far it looks okay. While it was up I modified the exhaust to tuck up under the truck a little better:

Soon!

Was able to get the massive boost leak is fixed and waste gates hooked up. Now it looks like I need to switch out the spring in the secondary gate. Once that stuff i working well I will be hooking up the naaawzz.

Everyone pray for my tranny!

Yup, but not an ICP sensor. Its a 5K pressure transducer that will be used for cylinder pressure testing. Need to get the nitrous on before I will be needing that though.

Bringing this one back up for a little update.

Made the decision to upgrade the primary charger to something a little larger.

Here's a few pic's of the initial mock up. I plan on getting the rest of the supplies ordered up in the next week or so.

Thanks Tim, I am really excited to see how that charger is work out. Things are pretty tight under the hood, but I hope to get everything arranged so the engine is easy to work on if needed.

I hope to get Code Red down to the dyno/ track this summer too. :D

Couple thoughts on the plan for the new setup.

The old primary mounted to the a/c compressor bracket with the center intake pipe routed over top of the bracket. This made removing that primary a bit if a pain because the intake had to be removed every time. Not too big of a deal, but add on water injection and all the reference lines and it got aggravating.

Secondly, the intermediate exhaust pipe was welded directly to the mount, so if I needed to remove the secondary the entire turbo setup had to be removed.

Lastly, getting the spring out of the secondary gate was annoying, the way I had it positioned made the screws a real pain to get in and out with the intermediate pipe in place.

The plan this time is to route the center intake away from the primary mount and use a v-band connection in the intermediate pipe so the turbo's can be removed separately if needed. Then hopefully there will be enough space to re-position the secondary gate.

I should have parts to finish the plumbing up by the middle of next week.

You should have gone with 221 for the name, because that's all the HP it will make. :poke:

Still need to hang the gates, then everything is coming back off to get welded - then installed to check final fitment - then stripped and sandblasted and off to get powder coated.
