I forgot about that little gem, I live down a 1/2 mile gravel road and the thread spacing is perfect for picking up mid sized gravel. Every time out I have to stop and pick out a good 10-15 per tire. Or beat the chit out of my paint.

gah. have you done much damage to your paint? ive gotten a few dents and scratches from the few days they have been on

Ohh yeah the rocker panels are chewed to hell but that doesn't bother me. The beige hides them well. Had enough trucks with wasted rockers so I am used to it.

Noise wise how so they compare to toyo MT's?

Definitely a great looking tire.

They are noisier, but not bad. They aren't like a bogger rolling down the road.

These tires are awesome. I have had my 37's for 30k now and very little wear. Very little noise. Stacks are way louder than the tires so I dont worry. I love that they are coming out with different sizes, so everyone can enjoy them

they only get loud at 70+ mph.

People that have seen them love them, and everyone is asking about them.

Everyone always liked them, then when they noticed the m16 cartridges, they thought that was cool. Then they were like oh, now the name makes sense. They were horribly loud on the dyno. And real loud at the track.

i have to say though, the folks with mud grapplers say how crappy the m16s are (they have never had them) , but in my honest opinion the mud grapplers are the most over rated mud tire of all

I had no clue about the cartridges and the shields til the day I noticed. What the hell? Ohhhh ok, at first I didn't get it.

Here's what mine look like after a little over 2 years and over 50k miles. Didn't start wearing weird like this up until about 5,000 miles ago.

those dont look bad at all to have 50k on them

Very true. When I got them I was hoping for 30k. I woulda told anyone they'd have been slicks at 50k. The uneven wear just kinda makes me mad.

As far as balancing, they took a ton of weight, but stayed balanced pretty well over the life. I only had to rebalance mine 3 times I think and I'm betting that was a thrown weight.

The only complaint I've got other than the strange wear is they started out reallll quiet and now they're reallllll loud. It was almost like the outermost tread was really soft, wore off relatively quickly and from that point on they were just too loud for me.
