on the weight subject. my CCLB weighed 6200 with 40" tires and 8 inch lift!!!! i thought that was low but obs trucks are flimsy.

Here is my current project. Revamp of my old 95 7.3 dump. Truck was rotted to hell so I got my hands on new cab corners, fenders, and pass door. Scraped the old bed and got a new dump body (not currently on). Just finishing reassembly now. Not bad for a garage paint job and a first timer with body work.

I would put money on that he cut 16" out of the frame and bolted on a short bed

heres my newest obs. 1997 crew cab. just finished installing a full built e4od, 5" exhaust, 3" dp, 6637 and ts with custom tunes. put some factory obs alcoas on it to keep it simple.

I love the short beds in that body style. The obs is prob my favorite style I like my 96 eclb but the shortbeds just look meaner to me.

I need a box for my truck, mine is all torn up, I will be buying a short box and shortening the frame. So I'll have a ccsb f350

I've considered picking up an extended cab long bed automatic and chopping the frame and putting a short bed on it to have a rare configuration.
