Somebody needs to make an aluminum pan and make the repair permanent. I heard the.cost was prohibitive. With ford pans reaching $400 its a moot point in my opinion. Not to mention the adapter, nut, and dipstick tube add another $100 to the overall cost.

An aluminum pan, a billet adapter, and be done. Even if it cost a grand. Ford charges 18 hours @100 a pop. You're ahead of that. Buy the parts yourself and you're close to 600. Id gladly pay 6-700 for an aluminum pan.

Moroso had an old PN# for one but they don't make it.

I bought a NEW 2-ton cherry picker ($180), NEW 1-ton engine stand ($90), and a NEW FoMoCo 7.3L oil pan ($204), and a ($16) tube of FoMoCo sealant all for under $500.

Yea, and by the time I ship it all, etc...about the same difference.

Dude, trust me I order a lot of shti from riffraff, strictly, and irate.

Aaaand, I didnt give ford 400 bucks for the pan, fyi. Screw them and their chinese parts. I have gotten too.many chinese parts in the last two years to blindly show allegiance to them. Lots of oreillys stupid parts are made in canada or us. Canada is.better than china at 3x the price.
