Well Just going to post a quick review of my install of my OUO traction bars. Install was a breeze and the results are amazing. Hard launches are so much more smooth now, braking is better, shifting is not as sloppy, and no more shuttering under a heavy load. Coming in and out of drive ways at an angle or going over a speed bump at an angle it makes no creaking noises at all like some of the other traction bars do. I opted for weld on brackets on the axle so that it would be easier to install. As always OUO delivered a bad ass product that I can beat on just like the ones on my 450 and not have to worry about a thing

I am making a before and after video with the traction bars that I will post when done.

They were about $700 dollars which is a lot but they are the best ones on the market and the only ones I would not be able to break. I also didn't want to go with cheaper ones that would creak and bind up when I fully flex out
Nice setup! What was the price?

Yes they are!

those on the ex?

live life full throttle

Thanks, I love them. You have any traction bars?
I love OUO's bars. Very nice buddy I'm jealous.

I'm jealous of those black couplers. I got mine before they switched over. LOL

Glad to hear you like them. I love mine, been on the truck for 2 years now and still as good as new.

How do you conclude that they are the best on the market? Have you tried others? What about PMF's

They are really nice looking.

I plan to get traction bars at some point. I have been eye balling OUO, PMF, or possibly making my own. The one thing I like about the OUO is that they can be adjustable. I am not sure pre-length units such as PMF's, would be ideal for all the variations of trucks/ lifts, etc.

I appreciate you sharing your input and the pics.

I have tried others and from start to finish OUO takes the cake, easy to install and flawless operation. No noises and no failure. I have seen far to many of other brands fail for a number of causes. If you use the truck to just go in a straight line then you can get away with other brands but for me because I use all my trucks to the fullest I needed something that wouldn't fail, bind up on not flat surfaces, and start to make noise after time. Do it once do it right is how I like to do it.

Very nice. I've got fabtech's now, and am looking forward to when my OUO's show up. the fabtech ones are better than some on the market, but not near as good as these.

Thanks, I appreciate your experience. I will keep these in mind when I am ready

What are the benefits to the large gussets vs small? I'm guessing higher hp trucks. I am currently pushing near 500 and possibly plan for 600 in the future, what would you suggest? I kind of like the bolt on style better, but not so much on the price difference.
How do you know what angle to mount the weld on mounts at?

Large gussets look better on large lifted trucks. Lowered, Stock, or 4-6" of lift look better with the small gussets. I don't think there is any real strength difference.

I wouldn't worry about making too much power for these.... 9.75 @ 137 mph

I think these are what I'm going with. Where did you purchase your set from? OUO directly? I was thinking of going with PMF originally, but OUO looks like a better setup.

You can get them from River City Diesel, Truck Toyz Performance, and Riffraff Diesel. There might be others but I am unsure.

i run the small guesset bars on my 4.5" lift and they look great on my truck and work better than they look. I agree with Layson that a large guesset bars are really for big lifted trucks. anything under 4.5" looks wise you want the small guesset bars. But small guesset or large guesset your performance is the same. Its just looks that is different

I did the small gussets on mine, and I am running a 8" lift.

Is all about the look you are going for.
