Ol Morgan has a great idea....cam lobe. Piece of debris could have gotten into the lifter and scored the lobe on the cam. When this happens, it is usually present at operating temp as the oil has thinned out. It's closer to the top end just like we thought and sounds pretty damn close to this 6.4. This is one of the things that could really makes sense so far...especially since its oil temp dependent. I guess it could still be a bearing too but either way...it's bad news LOL

I've seen 6.4 have a slightly bent rod run absolutely perfect. But when they warmed up and things expanded the tick/knock was louder. It's possible. That kind of knock is the crank throws hitting the rod. But my next guess would be cam/lifter.

Does it lope at all?

Lance ordered his drum of Rev X from me today. Gave him a $5 discount because he is such a good customer. That should fix this issue right up. no built motor needed. Cooper I could get yours on order too! sorry cant do the $5 discount with you tho. profit margin just wont allow it. :D
