Because this is what we found in many converstaions with Eric-nnovative diesel. Craig from MPD at one point was goin to put an 04 pcm in. You can't just put an older pcm in. There are wiring changes that need to be done. There's nothing wrong with the 05+ just that it might take a few more trys to get the tune perfect

good enough for me, i was just curious.

yes alot of issues the abs doesnt work dash doesnt work and you have numerous codes

We just got done building a truck with our stainless headers and a 64/71/.76 no gated cast turbo with 225cc injectors and he tows his 40ft camper egts never got above 1050 held 15psi at 65


i can see the 1000* but not at 65 when the converter is locked mine gets way hotter then that and that is with 190s. if it is true your headers are worth there weight in gold and il take a set.

i agree with you completley. I couldn't do that unloaded in any of my tunes.

Since the 05-07 PCM makes a difference, I'm wondering how much difference it makes, if any, on the few 05's without a Mass air flow sensor. I don't know how many are out there, but I know my truck just has an intake air temp. sensor, and has no mass air flow sensor. It was built in Jan 2005. I've been told there was about a 3 month period they were made like this???

must be i dont have these issues because my cab harness is off a 03? motor harness is 05, it just pluged right in and worked fine with the 03 pcm

Yes can harness is completely different

I will get video next weekend when we use it to tow my cabelas with the 40ft gooseneck to the pir race

You be surprised how much of a difference stainless exhaust manifolds make....

Do your stainless manifolds for the 6L have the vband clamps...or is this just for the 6.4's? If so, would you make them to bolt to a factory Y-pipe?

They come with v-bands and we have modded uppipes for them to attach

I have never heard of aftermarket manifolds?! What is the gain? How does the material affect an increase in performance?

We need beta testers that will give an unbiased oppinion cause I have a hard time believeing that a set of headers will make the difference between you being able to tow a 40ft trailer with trucks on it which will wieght in around 20 000 plus lbs and maintain 1000degs while towing at 60-65mph with converter locked in over drive and EVERYONE else on here with that same turbo can't do that with no trailer on

I have a hard time believing this as well. You cant weld a couple pipe tee's and 90's together and expect it to be a header...

craig shoot for what mike and shawn posted about the 50 mph roll, from no boost up to say 70-80. egts, boost numbers etc.

and if you could get a run and a cruise on a grade/hill that would prove worthwhile.

if they work like you say they do ill be ordering a complete setup from you.
