Quick little video from the other night after installing the new cartridge. As you can tell, my trans isn't liking 3-4 shift. LOL This was about 40% throttle according to the CTS:

Do you feel that this turbo was worth the price you paid over a box 66? Also, do you think it would benefit from more fuel or do you think stock fuel is plenty for it?

Sent from a Cummins plant, driving a Powerstroke, with a TDI on the side!

Thought a 66 uses up all the fuel a stock system can throw at it?

I feel it's worth the extra $$ reason being is bigger comp wheel equals more air then say a 66. Ive heard of someone pulling a batmo billett s366 off for one of these and hasn't looked the other way. Not to mention upgraded internals and balanced. Turbo still has a 78 turbine with a .91 divided housing. So you don't sacrifice off the bottom. Actually quite opposite and spool better. time will only tell on the fueling side. Truck isn't done. ;) I will say, the truck runs MUCH cleaner than when I was on the stockers. Yes there's lots of variables that can play into that, but it was noticeable. I'm hoping to have a new ebp sensor soon so I give feed back on the drive pressure. So far I've yet heard my gate to open, before I could open it up with ease on the performance file in higher r's.

Tell me about it....

I mean i know some of us may beat the topic to death but its definitely a big switch, and like in my situation i don't have anyone i know to ride in their single turbo truck, so if and when the switch is made its solely on peoples word (not that that is not sufficient)

Looks awesome, glad to hear it's working out for you, I've got the same kit from Morgan just waiting on my turbo now, going with a double batmo s472, hopefully it works out like yours did.

It is a big step and can be intimidating. Considering the stock turbos do work pretty good for what they are. I know the feeling about going off people's word on if this is worth doing or not. No one around here has done this and any advice I seeked out I was just laughed at. I purely went off of what I've seen on this site. I was very skeptical when I tore the stock chargers out and money was outta my wallet already. I knew I was at a point of no return. As far as comparing it directly with a s366 and the charger I have I can't give a direct honest opinion comparing the two. All I can give is facts about the turbo and the details that follow along how it runs in my truck. It is different driving, there will be an adjustment to that from the stock. But it isn't (to me anyways) that big of a difference to deter me from recommending this to another person. The already noticeable drive pressure drop along noticeable power gains from the butt dyno so far has been a win for me. Then noticing how driveable it is a bonus. Drove a tuned/deleted truck almost identical to mine last night with stockers And I wouldn't consider going back to the stocker compounds again. I don't think I would even consider going to modified stocker turbos vs this setup. It is truly a fun set up that is allowing me to set up for my ultimate goal. Hell I've recently been thinking I don't wanna do anything more to the truck besides building up the bottom end a little and a little head work and leave it. Move onto something else. Take what I've said what it's worth. I'm not here to determine what and what not to do to your own rig. That's your call. I'm just simply here to show what I've done and how it works. And it works awesome. Haha

And to add to that, if you've got any questions that you don't feel what I've typed is clear and wanna chat, or if you wanna do this to your truck, don't hesitate to give me a call. I'd be gladly to chat about it with ya and help ya make up your mind.

Oh yeah the sound is amazing. I agree my truck is a whole new animal and brought out a lot in the truck. I'm very pleased the route I chose.

570hp on the dyno 30% load, found another exhaust leak. Dyno'd the same with stock chargers on another local dyno that had zero load.

Edit: Good news is there's no more blue haze.
