I'm telling you... It's your EGR delete kit.... Same exact thing happened to me. Only made boost to 20. Had to look at all my EGR connectors and plug then back in. Then re load the file

Which connectors? Shouldn't they all be undone except for the one in the sdp coolant tube? And just take the truck to stock, then reload it, or re download it off the computer?

You know the plug that h&s tells you to unplug so that you can monitor EGTs on a minimaxx? It's that one. I believe it is right under the intake manifold. I had h&s tunes first then I switched to spartan and forgot to plug the EGR back in. My truck felt limp and slow just like yours.

Just re load the 80 tune. No need to go stock

Does anyone know what the boost of the 200 tune should be? I just did a pull & in high rpm it was at 30 & when it shifted it went to 35 then back to 30.

Warhammer makes 38lbs of boost. I ran it on that tune for 20k miles lol my turbo looked fine when we pulled it... just FWIW

i think its really hit and miss. h&s pulled the boost down to 24 , because of so many failures attributed to 30+ psi. im sure they get the most info in regards to failures lol .

Yea 38 is what I thought it was. I hardly ever make it go over 22 cause I know these turbos aren't Very reliable, but everyone gotta scratch the itch every once in a while! I'm hoping that spartan will open up to custom tuning or come out with a tune for an aftermarket turbo cause I'd really like to buy spe's turbo kit but I really don't want to buy an h&s & then have to suck up the loss on the spartan.

Yea I think it's a hit & miss thing too cause I heard ppl say they hear weird sounds at high boost & I haven't heard any odd sounds or any weird turbo surges or anything ( thank god) & I hope it lasts for a good while longer until I'm ready for a new one

well just to give you an idea, the turbo is at 180,000 rpm at 32 psi ... thats WAY too high. i believe it pegs the turbo rpm gauge at 200k at 35 psi .... cazy turd of a turbo .

Man quit tellin me stuff like this! Every time I read somethig like that or hear someone throwing a rod I just want to park my truck & order a new turbo! Lol I know it's too small & won't last long & if it blows I guess I'll just be getting a new turbo sooner than I thought

The turbo is designed for the stock power, and that is it.
Once the egr is deleted the second wastegate on an f250/350 is deleted and the only wastegate on the 450/550 miles is gone.

You guys are pumping way too much air through them and the exhaust is much too restrictive.

If you guys replaced the egr pipe with another wastegate maybe that would help.
A secondary wastegate for example

Dude STFU !

Do you talk to all of your customers or fellow diesl truck owners like this, or am I just special.

Or is PSA a place where new idea's are prospered by a select few vendors and forced onto the masses?

Do you as a vendor feel or assume other users are not intelligent and knowledgeable enough to engage in a quality and productive discussion of upgrades and modifications?

For a site to remain a credible source for information and idea's; transparency and diversity is of the utmost importance.

So you have a new idea that is different STFU is not truly an acceptable response to the OP's topic of "somethings not right"
However ironically the topic may contain an eerie parody as to the objectiveness of the information and content being driven on the site itself!

FWIW I do find allot of value in the content of the site or I would not be here.
I am just stating my opinion on how certain members could be open to different viewpoints.
