Been running the Cooper A/T3 for about 20,000 miles. Been super happy with them rotated every 5k and they are wearing great. Good snow traction too.

I finally got some prices. He sys he can't get the Cooper atp's due to being a club tire. He can get the at3's though for $167. He can get the Toyo Open Country A/T II for $197 and finally he thinks he can get the Micky Thompson ATZP3's for $230. Kind of leaning towards the Toyos since they are so well reviewed. Also, he doesn't charge me to mount and balance.

Toyo makes a good tire. I run their MTs and love them. Good road manners, even better off road. Best MT I ever had for snowy roads. Cannot under state their off road performance. Not too loud either. Just enough noise to make a low hum. Nice sound track for the truck. If you don't off road much their ATs are sure to be as nice as their MTs, plus quieter and even better on slick roads.

I do like the way these look. Just a little bit more aggressive than the Toyos especially the sidewall. Getting a price check from him now. Thanks!

He said $232 for the Duratracs. He did say he has had problems in the past trying to get these balanced. I do like the way they look but have seen some negative reviews on them with these trucks. I think that I am going to go with the Toyo's ($197). I can get them significantly cheaper and I like the way they look almost as much as the Duratracs. I do have a question though, if money was no object what tires would you guys go with? My boss is paying for these :)

My bad, I meant Wrangler. They have too many tires with "Wrangler" on them, lol

duratracs hands down! just cuz one shop has issues with balancing doesnt mean they all do. I have seen many many many trucks that run and love the duratracs. my duratracs run just as smooth as the stock at2's that came on it.

Wholly crap, I don't get the duratracs at cost and I still got them for 225 each. They had no issues balancing them either. Might have used the bead bags because I don't see any weights.

Not sure what the deal is but that is his cost. Discount tire is only a few dollars more. Not sure if he balances with bags. Will have to ask him. The big question is are they really that much better than the Toyos. Keep in mind, he is mounting and balancing for free. Also, if they suck, I'm coming for you guys. :p
