Toyo makes a good tire. I run their MTs and love them. Good road manners, even better off road. Best MT I ever had for snowy roads. Cannot under state their off road performance. Not too loud either. Just enough noise to make a low hum. Nice sound track for the truck. If you don't off road much their ATs are sure to be as nice as their MTs, plus quieter and even better on slick roads.

Yup I have to agree 100% ran MTs in my dually since last year and it did surprisingly well in the snow/ice with just my hitch and tidy tank in the box. Had ATs on my old truck and they were wicked in snow/ice as well, put 30k on them and still had 65-70% when I sold the truck last year

I do too because I have them and they arent duratracs.
I'm confused by this post. What "them" are you talking about? Are you saying that you have the Goodyears but they don't live up to their name?

I think I am going to go with the Toyo's as I really haven't seen anything negative written about them. I have read multiple posts in multiple threads were people like the Duratracs but don't get the amount of milage that the would like out of them.

im guessing he is saying he has the best all around tire and they are not duratracs. for some reason they are not saying what they have.

I have been around every single at and mt tire in my line of work and hands down duratracs win in the ALL around department. my tire shop says to rotate every 5k and should easily get 50k miles out of them. 40k if towing some and 30k towing all the time never unhooking the trailer..

an all around tire means good in every ground condition possible.. I haven't seen one top a duratrac yet.

those toyo ATII load up with mud, wet dirt, and clay easily.

I had duratracs when they first came out. They were abused, only got 35k out of them. this was 315s on the stock rims, so can't complain. I will probably get them again one I wear these nitto trail grapplers.

Lincolnlocker,

What balancing methods does your tire guy use on your tires? Are you using any form of dynamic balancing or road force balancing? Thanks!

And the same tire but with new tread pattern. People ive talked to that ran the previous pattern say they are even better.

Those are nice looking. I do mostly dd and a little bit of towing. Not sure I want to go with a hybrid type of tire in place of an AT. Those new Toyo R/T's do look interesting though. Have you had any experience with the Toyo AT II's?

never impressed me. load up easier in the mud/clay and not the greatest in a foot of snow or more...

Thats funny because thats why I bought them. They kick immeasurable amounts of ass in the snow. Seriously. You can actually use the brakes. I have baja claws in the garage with half the tread left but took them off because braking sucked.

What did you have baja atzs on? What size?

Yea! I saw them on a 14 ram ctd in 33x12.5. The guy ran the truck all over the states delivering campers.
