Hey guys i have a 2004 6.0 i originally built with as just a track truck but things changed a little. My current setup isnt tow friendly at all. I have somebody building me a coumpound setup so i can tow my camper (7800lbs empty). I have a s366 and s480 in my shop waiting to go on with 2 38 mm turbosmart waste gates. The question is will i be able to tow my camper with this setup? Dont wanna waste my time putting it together if its simply not going to work.
Ive been driving the big single for while now so im used to working the od lockout button. Also i would prefer not to swap injectors

Thanks guys

IMO I would go a little smaller on the HP turbo if you want it to tow easier. Maybe drop down to an s363

Also those 150% nozzles are gonna dump a lot of fuel even on a reduced fuel tune. I imagine pulling fuel is going to be tough. I would look into the PHP FIcm tuner made for larger nozzles, then run it on the lowest setting.

Along with my sct or are you saying to turn back to stock and run just the php?

You can run them together. SCT struggles in the Pulse Width department because there is not tuning table for it... you fool other sensors to guess and check and try to get PW where you want it.

FICM tuning actually adjust the PW and that is ALL IT DOES, just PW modification.

It really helped out when I was trying to tow with my s364.5 and s369.

Here is an example... on my ******** tow tune I could easily hit 1.6ms and egts were a little toasty. I add a PHP econo tune to my ******** tow tune and it dropped my PW to about 1.1ms at WOT. After that I had a hard time even breaking 1000egt.

Think of the FICM tuner as a "fine tuning" device for PW

Intresting thats not something im familer with.
So you believe it would work better if i tuned with the ficm tuner?

Hopefully more people will chime in. Im probably gonna pull the trigger on the php tuner unless somebody else says other wise

If you use the FICM tuner to properly adjust your PW... with conjunction to your SCT tunes. Then yes, it will work better IMO
