any way you could get a scanner on it and get some readings to see what its doing when it dies like that? certainly looks like your loosing HPO/ICP when it starts dying. hot stall and restart when cool is a bleeding issue for sure.

Im sure that you want to fix it, but do you think you are going to get anywhere without getting some OBD data? My FILs OBS acted EXACTLY like that when the CPS died, but there are lots of issues that could give similar behavior.

Cps has been changed. And both ipr and hpop has been replaced in the past few weeks, at first ipr wasn't changed then she quit running and we had a new ipr put in

Sorry, but you wasted your money going to a dealership. There were no codes found? With 2 trucks, you and your bro need to go in together and buy the AE w/ ford bundle. $120 had you a third of the way there. You'd run a scan of the major parameters when the truck has died and wont restart.

(Maybe Im confusing similar threads, but wasnt it you that said that when the truck dies, you can hear a relay clicking in the fuse box? )

Is the dying random or will it predictably die every time it gets hot?

That video reminded me of when my FILs 97 had its CPS fail. It would die, make you to pull over, let it sit for 5 mins, it would restart, allow you to run for a couple miles then just die again. When it was dying, youd get a couple of firing skips, absolutely no throttle control. When it was cold, it would fire up as if nothing was wrong. Did you install a Ford/Intl CPS? Do you get a tach signal when its died an attempt to start?

The truck is actually mine. My brother wasn't really answering questions correctly. I can plow for about 4-1/2 hours then it will start chugging then die but wont start for 30-60 mins. It has a brand new CPs from ford. Ford told me after I had mis fire on 1,3,5,7 but I think that was from it mis firing while trying to restart. They didn't clear the codes. The truck runs amazing up until it dies. Gives no warning at all. I'm going to put a different Hpop on it tonight and see what happens, before the Hpop went the first time it was just sluggish I never had this problem tho. :fustrate:

If 1,3,5,7 all miss fired that leads me to believe you have a wire connection loose... I would let it sit and start it up and wiggle all the uvhc connections and see if one causes the same issue...

Didnt you replace the pump once already along with the orings, IPR, etc? This is not a HP oil pump issue. It just supplies oil-- if you had HP oil related issues, it would act up as soon as the oil got hot (within 30-60 mins) and likely be throwing oil related codes.

To Mossback's suggestion, I'd run a buzz test as soon as it dies. This sounds like an electrical short/issue somewhere that develops over time (maybe in the IDM?). You have to be very careful with the 115V power in the lines, but with it running, I'd handle/jiggle all of the major harness lines going back to the IDM and fuse box and trying to make it die. And, swap IDMs with your bro's rig.
