If you have an alarm system already try adding a couple piezos inside the cab. For the kill switch maybe I was thinking of having multiple relays in cab wired in series. In order to start the truck you would have to: hold the brake/activate high beam/activate fog lamps/plus have a momentary switch somewhere which would complete the starter circuit. Just a thought. Stopping a thief would be hard, but slowing them down is possible. Maybe current draw from the activated items is too much and instead having multiple switches in a certain orientation (up/down/down/up/up) to complete the circuit.
Maybe a high current switch to break the constant 12volts to the starter so they can't even jump it at the starter?

I think the way to go would be physically stopping the fuel from getting to the engine because if they've stolen a dozen other superdutys they are going to know which wires to jumper to have it running in no time but if it isn't getting fuel it isn't going anywhere. Also a alarm system tied to train horns is going to stop 90% of thieves Imo.

Put a switch in the cab somewhere that kills the 12v signal wire to the ficm. This allows the truck to crank, makes it look like everything should work but until u flip that switch to allow that 12v signal to the ficm u can crank it till the batteries r dead

I wonder if there would be a way to hold brake pressure all the way to where it literally would have to be drug around.. These trucks are pretty damn heavy why not use that to our advantage too? For you six oh and newer guys the upfitter switches being in a certain sequence would be good.

can you explain more on why you say this?
After fighting with my insurance adjuster for over a month on my old truck, I don't really feel the same way about my truck getting stolen / totaled. Even with receipts for everything I had on my truck, I received nothing more than the trucks value. I was told that modifications didn't add to the trucks value etc... They also tried to give me what the trucks were going for at dealer auction in Texas at first. Adjusters are d!cks that usually know nothing about vehicles.

LOL! It's definitely some work, but I guess I don't see it as much being that I used to install alarms. if somebody wants our trucks bad enough ultimately they will have them, but if I can slow down 1 a**hole long enough to put a bullet in him it's worth it! I have a 3 megapixel IP camera sitting above my driveway in case I miss the action.

the no start relay doesn't cut all power to the PCM does it ?

in other words you don't get a code p1000 when it's used do you ??

and anyone with injectors like a 6.0 might want to reconsider cutting the fuel pump power but still having the injectors cycle ,, bad mojo there
