Ill try to make time in the next few weeks. I am going with some bigger injectors and when I finally get time to do them I will try to start a thread and show some screen shots.

I'm a nobody in the psd community but this is how it should be! None of the secret bullsh!t... Trade secrets are one thing but think of how much farther the technology would be if some of the communities best and brightest worked together

I agree, the ford diesel community is way too small to be worrying about who is going to steal their super secret tuning formula.

Hard parts are another matter.

I have one question/concern about tuning, mainly because i don't think i've ever seen it brought up before on the forums. Or if it has i've never seen it. Is the trans tuning difficult, or fairly straightforward?

Tranny tuning is pretty simple. Its the main reason most guys are disgusted in their programs, get that right and you can enjoy driving again.

It amazes me that someone has taken the time to crack the ford PCM and completely hand design a software to manipulate it. I can't even begin to understand how complex designing a software around this would be..

I agree with this. Getting a less touchy go pedal was a big plus for me, also.

When you see the stuff Bill started with then see what he's came up with, it's even more amazing.

As far as $700 being expensive, it's not much more than you spend getting a chip from a tuner and you learn so much more. I plan on getting the Minotaur set up and playing with my truck before I go with compounds and bigger sticks. Maybe I'll get all wild and crazy and tune that bad boy myself. I'll make sure I have alterate transportation first. I will also be bugging Bill aout that course he offers. Maybe if a few of us gang up on him and make it a group, we could talk him into it....:jammin::grouphug:

Minotaur will be my next investment. Finally got AE and am gonna play with it and get some solid logs of what the truck is doing. I have no complaints at all with matts tuning. Just like to learn and being able to see what that one little tweak does is even more interesting.
