Set it on kill and beat the crap out of it lol. That's what I do
And we've enjoyed every engine of it LOL
I hope you can keep it back together for a while this time Erik. Mine is up and running finally, now I just need to dial a few things in and not break it....lol.
Awesome to hear man! I'm glad the build is in progress. Kero us posted. Are you going to do the side action diesel upgraded lifters? They sound like a very good setup.
Well the rebuild has started, Morgan is going to assemble the motor then ship it to me. The only parts reused is crank, rods, heads, and balancer. I am getting rid of the solid lifters, it is chit I don't need on a DD. Be pretty much set up as before but going with a stage 2 Colt cam, and Morgans valve train upgrades. Also not filling the block either, no reason for it I think and truck will run cooler.
I saw him talking about it, but didnt see it confirmed. I know Tadd posted up about a set of lifters he has in stock (maybe the same ones?). The option Tadd posted about had an offering for axle oiling, which seems HUGE. And they are right in the same ball park $$ wise.
Good to see a couple different options these days for affordable, yet quality, lifters.
