I love the stance on your dually. How hard was it to fit the f550 rear suspension? I'm wanting to run the exact same setup as you.
Thanks, if I were you I wouldn't do 550 rear leafs. They don't ride very well at all empty, and are only mildly tolerable with a load on them. If I did it again, I would just run the factory leafs with air bags, and blocks under all of it. Right now I'm running the top 5 leafs from a 550 leaf pack, and 4" blocks. The 550 leafs are about 2" shorter in length than 250 or 350 leafs, but bolt right in after the head on the centering bolt is narrowed down a bit. You would probably need a new centering bolt anyway after taking the bottom 5 leafs out of the 10 leaf pack.
But like I said if all your looking for is the stance, a 4" block will probably put you right were my truck sits. I'm hoping to pull those leafs out from under my truck possibly by the end of the summer to build a 4 link air ride suspension for the rear axle, and I think I will be keeping the same height because I'm also happy with the way the truck sits right now.
