I guess if it was up to me, and it was to be a DD, I am not sure why you would go with a 467 over a 369, especially one with a gated set of pipes. I realized the 467 is a proven setup, but the 369 compressor out flows the 467, should be easier to spool, and with a gate will let you keep hammering on top. Its already proven how well the 74mm turbine side of the s300sxe's are working.

I look at those maps and see the 467 is a better turbo, look at how fat the center of the efficiency area is.
467 flat out works, and spools low enough to put rods out the block

Did you actually look at them?

The 369 has an additional 77% circle, the 76%, 74%, 72% circles are actually slightly broader on the 369, and after that the 467 starts getting cut off with the surge line. Though very similar, the 369 compressor map is better.

Either way its almost nit picking to decide between the two. But I would still invest in a gated t4 and a 369sxe. But Im pretty ecstatic with how well my 366sxe works. Grossed 23,500 today (scale verified), and maintained 30+ psi up a long 9% grade coming out of Tamaqua at about 2,000 rpm at 1125*. These things flat out work.

I was thinking the same thing you did when I looked at the maps. I'm now map expert though and could be interpreting things incorrectly. I really would like to overlay all the relevant turbo options on one map (same scaled axis) in different colors to see how they all compare.

*update*

my valves are all shot from running comps springs and 468 with under 30k miles, need a full rebuild and my only guess is i pushed it too hard or they weren't strong enough since i was constantly 45-55psi.

I now have beehives on this new motor build.

I can't say I've seen anyone with a 300/200 with a 369 setup yet. I think with the smaller turbine (compared to 468) it would be a great daily driver. I remember when the 369 first came out the other year I spoke to a turbo builder and he was still leaning towards the 468 due to durability. Not sure if thought has changed or not.

How does your HPOP handle the 3/2's? I bought one when they first came out wish I woulda waited and got a vertical twin pump. I wanna go to 350/2's been afraid of either detonating the stock bottom end or not having enough oil. I'm currently running a sxe369 but didn't know if it would live without a gate or if drive pressure would be insane.

It's been a while since I data logged, but if I remember correctly it held around 2,800 - 3,000 psi in the Dyno Proven hot tune. It dropped off a little more in the Gear Head hot tune. I believe that was calling for a little more pulsewidth.

I know there are guys running big nozzles, with stock 17° pumps, but I would like to see what difference twin pumps would make.

What was your backpressure at the 55psi range?
