The deleted tune is the h&s 150 box tune, boost is at 31-32lbs. Still have a faint black smoke, fuel pressure is not dropping and egt's are staying around 1200 at WOT

Fuel pressure won't drop until you get to 1400us.

Hmmm... I made my tune on MCC and I am running 1375us tried going more than that but didn't like how low my rail pressure was getting. My boost at peak will be 32 then settles in at 28 with the stock wheel. Might have to try one of these.

I'm thinking that this wheel on a non deleted truck will really cut down on the frequency of regens. That alone might be worth the cost of the wheel itself.

The only way I could see it helping. Would be you get a more complete and cleaner burn.
That is IF the HP gains are true. And if the regens go off of how plugged the filter is.

And wouldn't egts increase ?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk and ****.

No. They would decrease. High egt is caused from overly rich situations like when you see smoke coming from the exhaust. The leaner a Diesel runs, the lower the egt. Don't get the lean/rich nature of gas engines confused with diesels. They are opposite.

If you have never pulled the turbo, plan for a full day. Ford warranty pays 3.2, normally takes about 4 hours.
