The 2.0 pictures above is less expensive than the 5160
I have to say that I am increasingly impressed with these shocks after installing them and going for a ride. They are sooooooo much nicer than the stock shocks that were on the truck. They were worth the money without a doubt. Truck feels nice and smooth now and feels like it handles a little better as we'll.

Are most people in this thread talking about the performance series 2.0's? Anyone running factory series? Whats the difference between the performance series and factory series shocks besides price.
2nd question is there a difference is valving/ride quality between the smoothbodies and remote resis?

Fox no longer offers the different series.
They now offer the 2.0 factor resi and the 2.0 IFP (non resi)

I hear ya. By no means am I expecting her to ride like a caddy lol. You said the shocks tightened up the handling some on first impression? That would be nice as mine feels pretty loose.

Jerry, fox has a steering stabilizer to replace the factory piece up on the drag link. I had one on my previous vehicle and it worked great.
It is modeled after the factory series without a resi.
The three link will tighten up the steering and the front end even more!

I've got about 80k on my truck right now and I know for sure the front shocks are worn out. I was torn between the 5100's and the Fox 2.0's but now I'm def leaning toward the 2.0's. I have one question though. How long should I expect a set of these shocks to last? I hope longer then the factory shocks.

It's a good buy, the quality on the fox factory series is awesome. And having the high mount stabelizer keeps it out of harms way from road debris etc without sacrificing performance. Also keeping the factory look by not having the brackets and dual setup hanging off the front.

Did you have the factory or performance series stabilizer? There is a $90 difference in the 2.

Factory, Also have a set of fox resi stabelizers at the shop somewhere

No, they will be going on a project here soon.
The high mount is new for fox, and is turning out to be a great option for the cost.
No bracket purchase, simple 15 minute install.
